Hi, I’m Steve Bennett, and I’ve been making people laugh for as long as I can remember 

I started out as a stand-up comedian in college at 18 and have been doing some form of comedy as a job ever since. 

As a stand-up, I played festivals and wrote and performed several ‘solo hours’ - the one-person shows that are the bread and butter of the comedy industry. Along the way, I even won some awards. 

But over time I found that what I really enjoyed is what I call the ‘extra niche’ bits in comedy work: the M.C.ing, but also devising and hosting my very own weird concept shows, panels and quizzes, like Dungeons and Naggins, Comedy Bingo and more.  

Today, after 15-plus years in the entertainment business, I’m lucky enough to have a career that combines my two great passions: game design and comedy.

Offering the best of both worlds, it allows me to create and host personalised comedy game shows for businesses right across Ireland. 

And I do it all because I love to see people having a great time. Laughter is contagious. And laughing together is a short cut to connecting with others and making friends. And of course games are brilliant too, because as well as being fun, they improve your creative problem-solving skills.
